Bio Thieves is an investigative documentary that contrasts “bio-hacking” organizations who encourage underserved patients to steal intellectual property so they can manufacture the pharmaceuticals that they otherwise cannot afford, yet need to survive, with Big Pharma who have spent years and millions of dollars developing their patented pharmaceuticals, against the Food and Drug Administration who many say are ultimately responsible for the astronomical pharmaceutical prices we see today.
